Wow...what a tough lesson on our depravity!! I find myself in the hospital today with my wife and new-born daughter, and as they both sleep, I took the time to listen to the lesson online. Now I'm haunted by the question...
God...WHY would you design us this way?? Why would you design something with a fundamental flaw??
I look at my precious daughter who is only hours old, and she seems nothing short of a perfect gift from God, and yet I know that time will bring this nature out in her too.
The only answer I can drum up with my limited intellect is that this is in order to make us DEPENDENT on God, and I guess this isn't a bad thing!?
This has by far been the most eye opening session of the series. It not only made me realize why I am the way I am but also brings clarity to the meanings of scripture in the Bible describing the human condition being one of total sin. Thank you for a wonderful lesson!!!
