No-regrets Living in Chicago

On Friday night, I got to be a part of an unbelievable event. Nine churches in Chicago’s North Shore came together to kick off a One Month to Live Challenge. The story is really one of how an ordinary person can live a no-regrets life. Susan Hoopes had a dream of bringing all the churches together in her area, to make a difference, to impact the city with the love of God. But, Susan died in a tragic accident last summer. Her friends and family carried on her dream and her vision.

When I spoke Friday night to the gathering of churches, Susan’s husband Steve introduced me. It was so moving to see how as he talked about her dream, and looked out over the crowd and saw that it had come to pass.

Pray for all the churches in Chicago in North Shore as they take the One Month to Live Challenge and start living a no-regrets life. I can’t wait to hear all the stories about what God is going to do and it all comes back to one woman who is living with her passion and her purpose.

So, what is your dream? If you couldn’t fail, what would you attempt for God?
