Just remember you are going to miss these days.
Today my son Joshua graduates from high school so it’s a very emotional and exciting day for the Shook family. We’re really proud of Josh and excited about all that God is doing in his life and all that God has in store for him. It’s also a reminder of how fast time flies.
It seems like just the other day I was buckling josh into his car seat in the back of the car and this fall he’ll buckle himself into his car loaded down with all his possessions and drive himself off to college. It seems like just the other day he was starting kindergarten and this fall, he’ll be starting college.
People always told me when my kids were little that I needed to enjoy every single moment because kids grow up so fast. We were too busy during that time to stop and really think about it. But I just encourage each and every one of you who have small children when it gets hectic and crazy and you feel totally overwhelmed, just remember you are going to miss these days.
Here’s a picture of Josh that was shown as he was introduced yesterday with the graduating seniors at our church.

Congrats Shooks on the first of 4 HS graduations and thanks for the words of encouragement. With 4 children under the age of 7 we are living the sometimes hectic, crazy, and overwhelmed.
God Bless
